6+2 Port GIG Switch Kit

With the switch kit a POF home network could be established. The switch kit can be used in multiple ways. Not only as the main network node, also as an additional network node through cascading. Beside the 6 POF interfaces also two common RJ45 interfaces can be found if the kit is installed as described in the quick guide. So, up to two network devices can be connected to the POF network without the need of an additional media converter. The fan less design allows the use of the switches in noise sensitive places. The switches supports QoS mechanism and is ready to use without further configuration.

Because of the use of standardized IP protocols, the switch is compatible to all other network devices. Main features are high data rate up to 1 Gbps and low power consumption.
